Our founder, Capt. D.P. “Buck” Morris started selling cars off the street corner with his future father-in-law in 1945 and quickly had the reputation as the Southeast’s largest used car dealer. After returning home from Pear Harbor, where Morris was a signalman on the U.S Navy destroyer USS Phelps when the Japanese aircraft attacked, he opened Morris Datsun. Today, Bucky and David are Co-owners and with the help of their sons Gil (GM), Wesley (Service Manager), and Marshall (E-Commerce Manager), they are one of the leading Nissan dealers.
